India is one of the biggest democratic countries in the world where Indian citizens vote for their representatives. In India every person must having voter id and this is issued by  Election Commission of India.Every person must having 18 yrs old then the Election commission issued the voter id.Every person has is own voter id proof.

Voting is very important role in our politics.Every person is using the voting for during the elections.  Voter Identification (ID) Card is a unique identity card provided by the Government of India to every citizen of India.voter id is unique identity proof for every person and this is using opening bank accounts, driving license etc.



An election card is a unique identity card which has the individual’s name and personal data, such as address, date of birth, and father’s name. A photograph is also included in it. This card was issued by booth level officers under the guidance of state election commissioners when it was first introduced.Photograph is not attached the application will be rejected.

Once you enter the registration number you will get user id and password.

Login with this user name and password. You will be directed to an e-registration link.
Click the E-registration link. You will come across various forms.
Access the correct form as per your need. For instance:
Use Form 6 if you are a new voter without a voter ID card at all.
Use Form 8 if your name is not in the voter list of your assembly constituency or data in your voter ID card is wrong.
Use Form 8A if you have changed your address in the same assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh.
Once done, you need to click the Submit button. A registration number would be provided to you. Don’t forget to submit hard copies of your age proof and address proof to the nearest Election Registration Officer (ERO)’s office.
If you are apply the voter id you must submit the address proof.If you are not submitted photograph the form wii be rejected.

    Therefore, the Government of India came up with this idea of providing separate Voter identity cards for the voters in the year 1993 and since then, the Voter ID cards have been issued to all the eligible voters.
